Refund Policy

At OffGrid Campers WA, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. This cancellation and refund policy is designed to be clear, fair, and in line with industry standards while supporting both our customers and our operational commitments.

This policy applies to all bookings made through our website https://campervanhireperth.net.au and through our Camplify listings. By placing a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.


Cancellation Policy

We follow a Strict Cancellation Policy. Refunds are issued based on the timing of your cancellation.

Cancellations made earlier than 45 days before the rental start date

  • Eligible for a 100% refund of the total amount paid, minus any administrative fees.
  • Refunds may take up to 30 days to process, depending on your payment method and bank.

Cancellations made between 45 and 20 days before the rental start date

  • Eligible for a 90% refund of the total amount paid.
  • Administrative fees and booking platform fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

Cancellations made less than 20 days before the rental start date

  • No refund will be issued.

Company-Initiated Cancellations

In the rare event that OffGrid Campers WA must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. vehicle unavailability or operational issues), we will:

  • Issue a full refund of all payments made.
  • Offer alternatives, such as rescheduling or providing a comparable vehicle if available.

Refunds Due to Vehicle Issues During Your Rental

If your vehicle becomes unusable during your trip due to a mechanical fault (not caused by user error), and we cannot provide a replacement:

  • A pro-rata refund will be issued for the unused rental days.

Please note: Refunds will not be granted for issues caused by customer misuse, negligence, or violations of our rental terms.


Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • No-shows: Failing to collect the vehicle on the agreed start date without notifying us in advance.
  • Early returns: Choosing to return the vehicle before the scheduled end of rental does not qualify for a partial refund.
  • Policy violations: Breaches of our rental terms, such as prohibited vehicle use or negligent damage, void refund eligibility.

Requesting a Refund

To request a cancellation or refund:

  1. Email us at refunds@campervanhireperth.net.au
  2. Include your booking reference, dates, and reason for cancellation
  3. Allow up to 30 days for your refund to be processed (7–10 business days for cards, up to 14 for bank transfers)

Rescheduling & Booking Amendments

If you’d prefer to reschedule your trip instead of cancelling, please contact us at least 48 hours before your rental begins. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may involve a small admin fee.


Force Majeure

Refunds may not be granted in cases of events beyond our control, such as:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government-imposed travel restrictions
  • Road closures or extreme weather

We will do our best to reschedule your booking or issue a credit in such cases.
