Built on a platform roomier than the standard Hilux, Bakkie 2.0 combines cutting-edge 2025 engineering with top-tier camping equipment. The result is a vehicle that lets four adults explore further, stay longer, and camp in comfort across WAs most stunning locations.
This is not just another rental. This is a brand new, premium-equipped adventure vehicle designed for groups who refuse to choose between capability and comfort.
Driver Requirements
– Who Can Drive: Minimum age 25 years with valid full driver’s license
– Vehicle Tracking: GPS system monitors location and speed for safety
– Daily Limit: 200km included per day (excess kilometers charged at $0.50 each)
All drivers must be listed on the rental agreement. Please bring your license at pickup.
Off-Road Guidelines
– Unsealed Roads: Limited to 10km access to campsites (max speed 60km/h)
– Prohibited Areas: No sand dunes, river crossings, soft sand roads, or corrugated routes (Lucky Bay/Wharton beach ok)
– No Go Areas: No access to Gibbs River Road, Canning Stock Route, Gunbarrel Highway, Nyinggulu coastal reserve,
gravel road driving from Shark bay road towards Dirk Hartog Island.
Unauthorised off-road driving will incur a $250 undercarriage inspection fee
Return Conditions
– Fuel: Return with a full tank of diesel (no high-flow pumps!)
– Cleaning: Interior must be clean, including equipment (excessive cleaning will incur a charge).
– We take care of cleaning the outside of the vehicle.
– Red Dust: $250 cleaning fee applies for vehicles returned with red dust/mud
