How to Reserve a Camper with OffGrid Campers WA

Reserving a camper with OffGrid Campers WA is a straightforward process designed to ensure a seamless booking experience. Follow these simple steps to secure your ideal vehicle for your adventure:

  1. Choose Your Camper:
    • Visit our Booking pages and select the camper or 4WD vehicle you wish to hire.
  2. Redirect to Camplify:
    • You will be redirected to Camplify’s website to complete your reservation.
  3. Enter Hire Dates:
    • Input your desired hire dates. Please note that the minimum rental period is 7 days.

    • After entering all required information, the total cost will be displayed, including a detailed pricing breakdown:
      • Daily Fee: Determined by OffGrid Campers WA and may vary based on the season.
      • Service Fee: A flat fee of $150 per rental, covering general vehicle maintenance.
      • Booking Fee: Set by Camplify, calculated at 10.5% of the daily fee and any selected option extras (excluding the service fee).
      • Extra Products: Optional add-ons available for selection.
      • Accident Excess Reduction: Our damage coverage fee, which includes 24/7 roadside assistance.
  6. Submit Your Booking Request:
    • Click on “Request to Book” to proceed to the next page. At this stage, you will not be charged. Once OffGrid Campers WA approves your booking, you will have 48 hours to complete the payment.
  7. Provide Additional Information:
    • On the next page, you will be prompted to provide further details regarding your booking:
      • Selection of any additional products you may require.
      • Confirmation of the number of guests accompanying you.
      • Information about the country your driver’s license originates from.
      • Review of included amenities and our cancellation policy.
      • Answering a few questions about your travel plans to ensure the camper meets your needs.
  8. Finalize Your Reservation:
    • After submitting your request, OffGrid Campers WA will review your booking to ensure the camper is suitable for your planned adventure. Please be aware that 4WD-only tracks and beach driving are not permitted.

Once OffGrid Campers WA approves your booking, the following steps will guide you through finalizing your reservation:

  1. Receive Approval Notification:
    • You will receive an email confirming that your booking request has been approved by OffGrid Campers WA.
  2. Log into Your Camplify Account:
    • Access your Camplify account to review the approved booking details.
  3. Confirm and Proceed with Payment:
    • Select “Save and Continue” to proceed to the payment page.
    • Agree to Camplify’s terms and conditions to finalize your booking.
  4. Make Your Deposit Payment Promptly:
    • It is recommended to complete your deposit payment as soon as possible to secure your booking.
  5. 72-Hour Payment Window:
    • Important: If the payment is not received within 72 hours, the Camplify system will automatically cancel your booking.
    • If you are unable to make the payment within this timeframe, it is best to wait until you are ready before submitting a booking request.
  6. Cancellation Due to Non-Payment:
    • If your booking is canceled because the payment was not made within the 72-hour period, both you and OffGrid Campers WA will receive an email notification.
    • You will have the opportunity to submit another booking request if the RV is still available.

How Can I Make a Payment?

Completing your payment with OffGrid Campers WA is straightforward and secure. Follow these steps to finalize your reservation:

  1. Initiate Payment:
    • After your booking request is approved, click on “Pay Now” to begin the payment process.
  2. Understand the Payment Schedule:
    • Bookings More Than 30 Days Away:
      • Deposit: Pay a 25% deposit at the time of booking.
      • Balance: The remaining 75% will be automatically charged to the same card 30 days before your booking start date.
    • Bookings Within 30 Days:
      • Full Payment: Make the complete payment at the time of booking approval.
  3. Complete Identity Verification:
    • For security purposes, you will need to complete an identity verification process before finalizing your payment.
  4. Receive Payment Confirmation:
    • Once your payment is successful, both you and OffGrid Campers WA will receive a confirmation email detailing your booking.
    • Important: If payment is not received within 48 hours of approval, OffGrid Campers WA may cancel your booking.
    • Additionally, Camplify will automatically cancel the booking within 72 hours if no payment is made.
  5. Payment Processing Details:
    • No Direct Processing: Please note that OffGrid Campers WA does not handle any payments directly. All transactions are securely managed through Camplify.

For local hirers, the verification process is simple and efficient:

  • Verification Process:
    • Third-Party Service: Your documents are securely verified by a trusted third-party service.

International hirers can also complete the verification process with a few additional steps:

  • Required Documents:

Are Off-Road Adventures Allowed?

You are permitted to drive on officially designated unsealed roads. However, accessing beaches and exclusive 4WD-only tracks is not allowed. Short trips to approved campsites, such as those within National Parks, are acceptable. We do allow beach driving on Lucky and Wharton beach down in Esperance as the sand is quite firm in this area.

It is crucial to discuss your planned destinations with us and ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of the routes you intend to take. Please conduct thorough research before finalising your travel path.

Additionally, to provide an extra layer of protection for each off-road booking, we will require you to complete Camplify’s Off-Road Checklist.

    • Arriving on time guarantees a smooth handover of your camper.
    • If you anticipate being late, please inform us as soon as possible to accommodate any necessary adjustments.
  • Extended Hours:
    • In exceptional cases, if you require pick-up or drop-off outside of the standard hours, contact our support team in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.
